海绵铁简介：
海绵铁采用优质矿石，利用氧化还原反应原理，通过滤式除淀方式进行排除，对管道、锅炉和循环水溶解氧腐蚀经水处理后水溶解氧含量可将到0.05mg/L以下。在回转窑、竖炉或其他反应器内，用煤、焦炭，天然气或氢气，使铁矿石或铁精矿球团在低于物料熔化温度的条件下进行低温还原，变成多孔状的产物。其中被还原出来的铁呈细小铁核，形如海锦，故称。海绵铁经冷却、破碎、磁选，可除去脉石或其他杂质(金属铁占全铁90％以上者，可直接用于炼钢；90％以下的，用于高炉或电炉炼铁)。
在低于熔化温度之下将铁矿石还原成海绵铁的炼铁生产过程，其产品为直接还原铁（即DRI），也称海绵铁。该产品未经熔化，仍保持矿石外形，由于还原失氧形成大量气孔，在显微镜下观察团形似海绵而得名。海绵铁的特点是含碳低（＜1％），并保存了矿石中的脉石。这些特性使其不宜大规模用于转炉炼钢，只适于代替废钢作为电炉炼钢的原料。海绵铁中硫、磷等有害杂质与有色金属含量低，有利于电炉冶炼优质钢种。含铁量超过97％以上也属于海绵铁，但应用于粉末冶金领域，其形状分块状和粉状（一次还原铁粉），如深加工还可做二次还原铁粉，其含铁量将达到99％以上。
海绵铁滤料适用范围：
1、适用于热水锅炉的补水;
2、适用于低压蒸汽锅炉的给水;
3、适用于工业循环冷却水补水;
4、适用于油田注水
