黄粘土
耐火粘土是指耐火度大于900℃、可做耐火材料的粘土和用作耐火材料的铝土矿。它们除具有较高的耐火度外，在高温条件下能保持体积的稳定性，并具有抗渣性、对急冷急热的抵抗性，以及一定的机械强度，因此经煅烧后异常坚定。粘土矿种类齐全，分布面广，按性质和用途可分为陶瓷粘土、耐火粘土、砖瓦粘土和水泥粘土。硬质粘土常呈块状或板片状，一般在水中不浸散，耐火度较高，为耐火制品的主要原料。耐火粘土中的硬质粘土用于制作高炉耐火材料，炼铁炉、热风炉、盛钢桶的衬砖、塞头砖。在陶瓷工业中，硬质粘土和半硬质粘土可以作为制造日用陶瓷、建筑瓷和工业瓷的原材料。
