Due to a carbon content fo more than 1% this alloy is ideal for feeler gauges stock, shims and springs where corrosion
problems are not expected. This material is magnetic. Available in thickness between 0.01 and 2.0mm.

Temper rolled Stainless steel 1.4310
This Steel has a good corrosion resistance due to a content of 17% Chro mium and 7% Nickel. Ahigh tensile strength is obtained by cold rollingCompared to Alloy 1.4301(AISI304) a much higher tensile strength of more than 2000N/mm can not be reached. Because of this, 1.4310 is suitable for stainless feeler gage stock, precision foils, stainless springs and parts of higher strength, This alloy is little magnetic and can not be hold by magnetic tablesof grinding machines. Available in more than 60 thickness between 0.003 and 3.0mm.

质量检验Quality inspection
Rolled to precise thickness tolerances
The thickness tolerances of WM precision shim foils meet the international Standard T 3(Stainless steel with a width of 12.7 and 600 mm are according to DIN EN 10258). These tolerances are even closer than required by BIN 1544 /DIN EN 10140.The technical information table gives information on absolute permissible deviation on thickness.
During manufacturing continuous inspection ensures our close tolerances are met.
Product information and product batch are marked on the WM label. The material can be traced back to the cast. In addition most strips are marked with thickness and production batch.
With this information we can send you a certificate 2.2 B according to DIN EN 10 240 even if you already have the products for a fee of 5,20 Euro per certificate.
