Computerized Roughing machine for shoe side wall processing
The CD8 is a computerised machine designed to solve the perennial problem of roughing the shoe side wall, an operation which even today, is still done by hand, with the resulting waste of energy and manpower and the elevated risk of imprecision and damage to the shoe.
The CD8 features of the following characteristics:
-Blocking the shoe.
Thanks to the ground-breaking"Safelock" system, the shoe is safely held in the same position each time, which guarantees the roughinge operation will be repeated in exactly the same way.
-Self-programming function.
The shoe side wall profile programming is performed completely automatically. all you have to do is trace the sole profile you want to apply on the shoe <central number> then load and lock the shoe on the machine. A digital camera automatically follows the profile traced on the shoe, reading and memorising the profile itself. At this point the machine is ready to roughen the shoe according to the "shape" it has memorised.
-The lateral roughing head works on five interpolated axis which simulate the movement of the human wrist. it is fitted with an electric spindle that drives the roughening head with adjustable speeds for each section which can achieve up to 15000 revs per minute. This system makes it possible to follow every curve of the sole without exception.
