Membrane bioreactors (MBR) are the next generation of waste water treatment processes, thanks to use of SATI BIO-CEL submerged membrane modules that successfully replace the conventional sedimentation tank in the activated sludge treatment process for the separation of solid/liquid (biomass/treated water) with the result of having a more compact and efficent plant. MBR plants is efficent, reliable and future oriented solution, which significantly increases the purification rate, creates a discharge absolutely free of solids and bacteria, thanks to an ultrafiltration membrane.
