TECHNOLOGY - MBR:
The Membrane Bioreactors (MBR) represent the new generation of treatment processes of the wastewater, using membrane modules underwater which substitute successfully the sedimentation tanks in the traditional process with active sludge to permit the separation solid/liquid (biomass/treated water) with the result to have an implant more compact and efficient.
The MBR implants are the most efficient, reliable and future oriented solution which consent to obtain a big improve in the treated water quality, with a limpid drain and with no solid and bacteria, through the ultrafiltration membrane usage.

The membrane modules base the separation process “biomass/depurated water” on the cross-flow depuration mechanism between the active sludge suspension, moving upward and parallel to the surface of the membrane, and the liquid phase, which passes through the membrane under the trans membrane pressure (TMP).
REDUCED DIMENSIONS.
The membrane modules can be immersed in the biological reactor, eliminating the finale sedimentation tanks clutter. The high active sludge concentration reduces the biological reactor dimensions.
HIGH DEPURATION PERFORMANCES
The ultra filtration membrane usage guarantees the complete separation between the active biomass and the suspended solids and bacteria. The membrane modules are used in the reactors with a high sludge concentration, guaranteeing the best biological removal of nitrogen and organic components.
ENERGETIC EFFICIENCY
The membrane modules, instead of the classical hollow fiber modules, offer a higher energetic efficiency, given the lower trans membrane pressure and the high air cleaning action
