My customer needs metal fire-resistant doors, fire resistance standard EI-60 – do you supply doors for such standard?

EI-60 means that if the fire is at one side of the door, the door can stand it up to 60 min before it starts to pass smoke and fire to its other side (because of door’s entirety or shape losing or because of its overheating after 60min fire influence from one side).

 

 

1. 1. Doors have to withstand fire for 60 min. EI60 means the door not only prevents the spreading of fire for 60min, but also prevents the smoke spread. So the door must have special sealing which inflates/swells by high temperature and closes the space between door and wall tightly. Also the sealing must protect cold smoke spreading, without inflation, for 60min also.
2. 2. We don’t need the document EI-60.
3. 3. Doors size 1000 * 2100 mm
4. 4. Set: door&seal + frame + Hardware: fireproof lock (DIN 18250 would be the best); fireproof handles; hinges. We don’t need door closer.
5. 5. 50mm door body thickness (steel + filler). Steel thickness for the frame and door is 1.2 mm.
6. 6. Order qty: 1300 door sets. LOAd in 40ft GP or HQ contAIners.
7. 7. Target price – the lowest FOB your port.
