OVERVIEW
The Series A Muncher® is a slow speed high torque disintegrator designed to operate in the waste
water industry. Further data on material handling and capacities can be found in this document.
The Series A Muncher is avAIlable in six thrOAt length sizes from 200-1500mm. Throat length refers
to the nominal length of the cutter bank.
Machine type options are the basic channel, pipeline and upflow, the latter two available in a range
of sizes and six power units covering three sizes are available to choose from.
IMPORTANT NOTICE ON SAFETY
The Series A Muncher is a deceptively powerful machine and could, if misused, be extremely
dangerous.
It is vitally important that operators and any other personnel likely to be involved with the machines
read, and be conversant with, the Operation and Maintenance Instructions prior to working with the
machine.
The units should only be operated with safety features in accordance with PD5304: 2000 Safety of
Machinery.
